Understand, Search, Summarize, and Present (USSP) is designed to help students quickly understand the concepts, search the information, summarize the ideas, and present the contest topics while maintaining quality and efficiency. The USSP contest will help students develop the skills they need to succeed in academic and professional settings.

The contest is of two stages:

➢ Stage1:

In stage 1 of the contest, participants will be asked to understand, research, summarize, and prepare a professional presentation on a topic related to the AI and Sustainability. The topic and presentation outline will be provided at the beginning of the stage. Participants will then have a certain amount of time to complete their presentation based on the guidelines provided. The top eight best submissions from Stage 1 will be selected as winners.

Participants should do the followings:

  • Understand the topic. Carefully read the topic and presentation outline provided by the contest committee. Make sure that the participants understand the key concepts and ideas involved.
  • Research the topic. Conduct online research to learn more about the topic. They can use a variety of sources, such as news articles, academic journals, and various websites.
  • Summarize the research. Write a concise summary of your research findings.
  • Prepare the presentation. Use your research findings to create a professional presentation. Your presentation should be clear, concise, and engaging. It should also be visually appealing.
  • Submit the presentation. Submit your presentation to the contest committee by the deadline.

➢ Stage 2:

The presentations submitted by participants in Stage 1 will be the same presentations that will deliver in Stage 2. The selected winners from Stage 1 must be prepared to present their topics and must adhere to the presentation evaluation designed by the contest committee.
